Our History
Bridge Strategy Group was founded in 1998 by a group of experienced business consultants with a passion for working closely with clients to improve business performance.
Bridge is a firm built out of the vision and the passion of a group of senior consulting practitioners, all of whom had spent significant time at leading global management consulting firms, such as McKinsey & Co., A.T. Kearney, The Boston Consulting Group, Booz Allen Hamilton, Accenture and others. Their desire was to create a consulting practice where they could remain personally involved in project work throughout their careers, providing their clients with focused senior advice across a broad range of management issues. As a result, Bridge was founded in Chicago, IL in 1998.
Over the years, Bridge has strived to deliver a unique proposition in a crowded consulting marketplace. We are committed to structuring our work and relationships around how the client wants to be served. We do not impose one-size-fits-all methodologies or cookie-cutter approaches on projects, especially where more tailored and effective paths are possible. We recognize the influence our advice can have both on companies and on the careers of the individuals who engage us, and we take this responsibility very seriously. In simple terms, our ultimate objective is to help our clients achieve superior, sustainable and profitable growth. In 2001, in recognition of our successful trajectory, Bridge was identified by the Consulting Magazine as one of the Seven Jewels of Consulting.
Bridge’s organic growth has outpaced the consulting industry's growth rates since our inception. We have grown exclusively by selectively recruiting both experienced consultants from top-tier firms as well as leaders from industry who share the same passion for creative and effective problem-solving and for delivering results. In 2008, Bridge began a new chapter in its life: we have joined the Satyam family. Satyam Computer Services Ltd. is a leading global BPO and IT services company. With the joint capabilities of Bridge and Satyam we will be able to offer greater value to our clients where appropriate. However, Bridge will retain our independence and objectivity in advising our clients. Bridge is Satyam’s platform for building a global management consulting practice and we will continue to be managed with a high degree of autonomy. For the foreseeable future, Bridge will operate as a fully owned subsidiary of Satyam.
